General Instructions

To install the Accelerator bracket on the FasTrak 36 or 42 inch mower you need to first remove the deflector shield.

ALWAYS RE-INSTALL THE DEFLECTOR SHIELD BEFORE USING THE MOWER WITHOUT THE CATCHER.

After removing the deflector shield, place the long leg of the bracket INSIDE the mower deck so that the short leg of the angle bar (the one with the hole in it) is flush with the edge of the mower (the hole will be at the front). Clamp the bracket in place and drill 2 holes through the mower deck and on through the aluminum bracket. Use the 2 nuts and bolts provided to secure the bracket.
Attach the catcher by putting the stainless steel pin through the hole in the bracket and lowering the hook over the edge of the bracket.

Disregard the instructions for bracket mounting in the main instruction sheet. This particular mounting can be somewhat confusing so feel free to give us a call if you need any technical assistance, please call 800-984-9410.

Clean bag out at the end of each work day (especially if you have been mowing wet grass). The bag will clean easily with a hose or an air compressor. Be sure to wear eye protection especially if you are cleaning the bag with an air gun or hose. Do not put your hands inside the catcher- there are some surfaces that can cause abrasions or cuts. Never use excessive pressure or force when cleaning the bag as this may damage the bag and/or injure you.
• Never throw the catcher when full of grass. It is very heavy when full, and the impact may cause damage to the frame.
• Be sure to secure the catcher to your truck or it may fly out while driving.
