Extender Installation Video
This covers the installation of a standard extender. Installation process will be the same for our jumbo extenders.
Watch VideoTools Needed
- 1/4” drill bit and drill
- safety glasses
- ratchet strap or bungee cord
- gloves, ratchet, and 1/4” socket
- hammer and center punch
- sharpie and phillips screw driver
Each catcher comes with mounting instructions specific to that catcher. All catchers have a general information sheet that provides catcher care direction and basic instructions. If your catcher comes with a bracket in the box, then you will also receive specific bracket installation instructions.
It is your responsibility to read the warnings below and follow the provided instructions.
Extender Installation

Step 1:
Remove the rear door of the catcher. Place the leaf extender at the rear of the catcher and strap it in place with a ratchet strap or bungee cord.

Step 2:
Place the hook on the catcher directly in front of the extender latch and mark the hole location with a sharpie.

Step 3:
Using a center punch and hammer, make an indent at the site you marked, then drill a 1/4” hole. Then insert the hardware and tighten using a Phillips screw-driver and a socket.

Step 4:
Place the Extender latch over the hook, and close the latch.
